Justice from the Viewpoint of Imam 'Ali A.S

Al-HadithIntroduction
Values that weave together the fabric of our societies and play a significant role in our social existence are numerous and their closely-knit structure is apparent. However, delineating a system of social values and pinpointing the most significant value that should serve as the measure against which all other values are judged is a task both most difficult and most critical in the realm of culture, politics and society. For the wise have long been perplexed by the question as to what is the crowning jewel of all values. What is that single value the lack of which leads to social disharmony and chaos and the presence of which leads to social peace, harmony and advancement

Imam Ali’s Commandment for Muhammad bin Abi Bakr

Sayings Of Ahlul BayImam Ali’s Commandment for Muhammad bin Abi Bakr
when assigned him as governor of Egypt
This is the commandment of Ali Amirul-Muminin to Mohammed bin Abi Bakr when assigned him as the governor of Egypt
Fear God and obey Him secretly and openly. Devote to God in unseen and public situations. I order you to treat Muslims leniently, the sinful intensely, and Dhimmis fairly. I also order you to give back the wronged their rights, punish the wrong severely, pardon people, and do charitably as much as possible. God will reward the charitable and will punish the sinful
I order you to call people who are under his power to obey God and accede to union. If they do so, they will gain good health and reward that are too great to be estimated or realized

Holy Prophet's Commandments for Imam Ali A.S

Sayings Of Ahlul BayHemmad bin Amr and Anas bin Mohammed related from his father from Ja’far bin Mohammed from his father from his grandfather from Ali bin Abi Talib (a) that the Prophet (s) said to him
O Ali, I will convey to you a commandment that you should retain. You will keep up yourself in goodness as long as you follow my commandment
O Ali, for those who suppress their anger while they are able to punish, Allah will endow them with security and tasteful faith on the Day of Resurrection
O Ali, he who does not provide a proper will in his final hours is suffering a defect in his personality and will be deprived of the right of Intercession
O Ali, the best of jihad is to begin your day without intending to oppress anybody
O Ali, he whose utterance is avoided by people will be an inhabitant of Hell

Imam Ali’s Commandment for his son Imam Hussein A.S

Sayings Of Ahlul Bay
O son, I command you to fear God in richness and poverty, cling to the word of right in satisfaction and rage, be moderate in richness and poverty, be fair to your friends and enemies, work in activity and laziness, and satisfy yourself with Allah is crises and luxury
O son, an evil that is followed by Paradise is not a true evil, and a welfare that is followed by Hell is not a true welfare. Every comfort other than Paradise is valueless and every misfortune other than Hell is a good health

Imam Ali’s Instructions to his Companions

Sayings Of Ahlul BayFour Hundred Topics of Religious and Worldly Affairs
Cupping recovers the body and strengthens the mind
To have the mustache cut is a part of cleanness and a part of the Sunna
To odorize the mustache is an honor for the Recording Angels. It is also a part of the Sunna
Oiling softens the skin, strengthens the mind and the brain, eases the organs of ablution, removes disheveling, and purifies the color
Brushing the teeth pleases the Lord and freshens the mouth. It is a part of the Sunna
Washing the head with the mud of rivers removes the dirt and purifies from uncleanness

Hadrat Abu Talib's Role during the Total Boycott and Blockade of Muslims by Qura

Events And BattlesThe polytheists became very angry when the Prophet (s) became so powerful and his mission spread so widely that many people of different classes and countries believed in sincerely to a degree that they preferred dying to give up their new belief when they were punished with severest kinds of torture. In fact they tolerated pains as if they enjoyed pleasures
The pain for the sake of the mission was sweeter than any other ease and the midday heat of the desert was more verdant than any other place
No one of them would utter a word that might make the polytheists feel that they might yield or give up the right way of Allah they had chosen heartedly
They preferred to leave their homes, their countries and their lovers in order to be safe with their religion
Quraysh began to think and think, create tricks and look for new plots that might be of use to restrain the spreading mission and to suppress its voice, which entered the hearts without asking permission

Shiite's Books On The History Of The Prphet

Al-Hadith
Accounts of the divine Prophets were carried out as part of Islamic historiography by various scholars in books entitled al-Mubtada’ which means the beginning or the origin. These works deal with the history of mankind since the beginning or the creation of Adam till the time of the last divine messenger, Prophet Muhammad (S). In this field also the Shi‘ites did not lag behind. Part of the book al-Mubtada’ wa al-Mab‘ath wa al-Maghāzī by Abān bin ‘Uthmān Ahmar Bajallī, the extant portions of which we have published as mentioned earlier in this article, indicates that the recording of such traditions also existed among the Shi‘ites, although, as we have said in the introduction to this book, it contains certain narrations from Israelite sources, which are of course not acceptable

Historical Account of Fadak

Al-HadithOn 7th Hijri, the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) had given this place as a gift to his beloved daughter Janabe Fatema (s.a.). She used to administer this place through her appointees
Just ten days after the demise of the Prophet (s.a.w.a.), Fadak was snatched away from her. Inspite of providing proofs and witnesses, it was not returned to her. It was not considered as a parented heritage and property
According to Sahih Bukhari the 2nd Caliph had returned it to the successors
The 3rd Caliph took possession of it by force and gifted it to Marwan

There was no Difference in the Policies of Imam Hassan (A.S.) and Imam Husayn A.

Al-HadithAlthough these two great leaders are, according to the explicit statement of the Holy Prophet (SA), rightful Imams, their policies apparently seem different. Some have even said that the difference of opinions of these two brothers was so great that one of them, having 40 000 combatants, accepted the peace offer, while the other, with only 40 friends and companions (other than his relatives) fought the enemy and lost all of them including his suckling child for this cause
However, close investigation proves the contrary, as we see that al-'Imam al-Hasan (AS) lived for about nine and a half years during the reign of Mu'awiyah and did not oppose him overtly. After the martyrdom of his brother, al-'Imam al-Husayn (AS) also lived for about nine and a half years during the reign of Mu'awiyah and never thought of rising in rebellion against him and did not challenge him

Belief in Imamate by Both Sects

Al-HadithBy: Muhammad al-Tijani al-Samawi
By Imamate in this chapter, we mean the general Imamate for Muslims, i.e. caliphate, rulership, leadership and Wilāyah guardianship
Since the main topic of my book being comparison between the school of Ahl al-Sunnah and that of the Imāmiyyah Shi‘ah, I have to expose the principle of Imamate in the perspective of both the sects, in order that the reader and researcher be acquainted with the foundations and principles upon which each sect depends, knowing consequently the convictions that led me to accept conversion and abandon my previous belief
